OK Gang – lot’s going on this time of year and here’s a breakdown!
Revival at church 11/14 – 17 at 6:30. Continue to pray for a overfilling of the Holy Spirit during these days and that the church is impacted to discard our human frailties, humble ourselves, and focus on Jesus. AMEN!
Gathering at Usrys 7:00 Nov 19 with focal on Giving Thanks.
Gathering at Usrys 7:00 Dec 3 with focal on Christmas – preparing ourselves for the season. (Julie’s investigating Christmas events in the area for after our worship time.)
Christmas party & adopted family activity – Dec 18 or 19 – more details TBD. Please pray that our hearts and the hearts of our selected family are open to the voice of the Spirit and lives are impacted through this ministry. Any ideas to more personalize our relationships with the adoptees???
And that’s it folks! Realizing it is a busy time of year and everybody can’t make it to everything…..hopefully there’s enough info to plan ahead and join us in some of these activities of worship and praise.

Friday Night Gathering
Nov 10th
Meeting at Usry’s around 7:30. Headed up to church for prayer wall and praise time around 8:00. Then who knows? See you there,
Sunday Bible Study
Oct 31st
For those not in Bible study this morning – we are changing the format….and we need everyone to be on time – 9:30. We are intentionally behind one week in our study of Acts and the focus on witnessing. Next week we will review the story of Lydia, Slave Girl, and Phillipian Jailer. Yes, that is the same topic of Dr. Bob’s sermon this morning.
The design is to 1) hear Dr. Bob’s sermon, 2) use these Bible passages for our personal study during the week, 3) hear the story again during our Bible study time, 4) discuss how the passage spoke to you this week and application.
Most of you have noticed a different style of the sermon….called storying. We will be using the same method during our Bible study time for next several weeks. Storying is designed for small groups and next week, Rachel, Julie, and Craig have volunteered to “story” Lydia, Slave girl, and jailer. We will need to start on time to allow full discussion and at end of class we will have prayer and praise time.
Each week we will seek a volunteer to present the story and props are acceptable but not required.

This week’s Gathering is at FBC at 7:30. Meet by the playground. Join us for a time of prayer as we prepare for upcoming Revival in November. Sanctuary may be in use – if so, we will prayerwalk the church grounds.

Oct 10th
Annual Bonfire (no guns) Saturday, 10/23 at the Louviers place on the river. Bring your own Hot Dog (or favorite fire food), drink, chair, etc. Starts about dark time.

We will be gathering at Usrys Friday night at 7 to celebrate Bry’s new Adventure. We will plan a time of encouragement, pray, worship, and fellowship. Bring a snack and drink for free admission.
