OK Gang – lot’s going on this time of year and here’s a breakdown!
Revival at church 11/14 – 17 at 6:30. Continue to pray for a overfilling of the Holy Spirit during these days and that the church is impacted to discard our human frailties, humble ourselves, and focus on Jesus. AMEN!
Gathering at Usrys 7:00 Nov 19 with focal on Giving Thanks.
Gathering at Usrys 7:00 Dec 3 with focal on Christmas – preparing ourselves for the season. (Julie’s investigating Christmas events in the area for after our worship time.)
Christmas party & adopted family activity – Dec 18 or 19 – more details TBD. Please pray that our hearts and the hearts of our selected family are open to the voice of the Spirit and lives are impacted through this ministry. Any ideas to more personalize our relationships with the adoptees???
And that’s it folks! Realizing it is a busy time of year and everybody can’t make it to everything…..hopefully there’s enough info to plan ahead and join us in some of these activities of worship and praise.

Friday Night Gathering
Nov 10th
Meeting at Usry’s around 7:30. Headed up to church for prayer wall and praise time around 8:00. Then who knows? See you there,

Annual Bonfire (no guns) Saturday, 10/23 at the Louviers place on the river. Bring your own Hot Dog (or favorite fire food), drink, chair, etc. Starts about dark time.

Changes In Registration Requirements

As of today, you will no longer need to verify your email address by clicking a link just to receive a temporary password. Now, you may choose your own password when you sign-up. You will still need to provide your email address however. In addition, we are now asking for your name when you sign-up so that we know who the “man behind the mask” is, so to speak.
Spam filters and similar obstacles should no longer be a problem. Power to the people!

Perpetual Loop Bug Fixed in Code

Our former RSS software wasn’t working properly. It was failing to send any updates to Facebook or Twitter. So, I replaced it with another system yesterday. The new software was posting to Facebook and Twitter, but there was a bug in the code that threw the software into an endless loop. Basically, what was happening was that Wordpress was cross-posting to Twitter and Facebook and then Twitter was posting an update in our blog (Wordpress) that referenced the same information. Effectively, our blog told Twitter, “Hey show this!” And it did. Then Twitter told our blog, “Hey, now you show this!” And it did — while completely disregarding the fact that said information first began right here on our blog. And poor little Facebook was caught in the middle.
So, if you noticed any repetitive updates on Facebook or Twitter last night, I apologize. I removed all the duplicate entries, and fixed the errant code. All should be right with the world again.
